Actress II

A grotesque, two-faced female figure frozen in a grand theatrical gesture: one hand raised high, a pair of drumsticks held at her waist, her stylised body in a textured costume under a rich green patina. The artist has been around actors since youth, worked as an art decorator at the state opera house and is married to a well-known Hungarian actress; his tribute to the stage carries a light touch of humour.
