The Wingmakers

Daedalus and Icarus, one of the most dramatic and saddest Greek myths, and an eternally relevant one. The artist sees in it the familiar story of parents warning their children and children insisting on their own way, even at the price of mistakes and falls. The sculpture speaks to lovers of Greek mythology, and to parents and their sometimes stubborn children.
